So after a few plurk discussions, the want to start journaling again a la Livejounal came up a few different places, and this idea was born!

We ask if you participate, that you attempt to post 1-3 time a week, and comment as much as possible to help jump start personal journaling here on dreamwidth. And if you use your journal already (or if you start from here) we'd love a link back to this meme! The more the merrier!

What do you post| TBH I don't know. I haven't kept up a journal for like 5 years. Use to be fandom and personal life stuff on a pretty regular basis.
Posting habits| I posted between once a day and once a week, and commented plenty. I'd like to post at least once a week, if not more.
Warnings| I can be political? And I cuss a lot. And I make a lot of typos. Which I'm guessing is obvious by this point.
Looking for| People who post semi-regularly who post a nice mix of stuff I like finding out about new things and people!

Tell us any interesting thing about you! I'm terrified of submarines. Like will run away from them in fear. Living in Denver this doesn't come up a lot. Thankfully. But it has happened more times that seems reasonable given this weirdly specific fear.

What do you post| I haven't used a journaling site in ages, so I honestly don't have a clue, but it will probably be fandom and craft projects and babbling about sex ed type things (I have a podcast, on that note. Check it out here), possibly activism, and maybe some weird mystical type stuff like reiki and tarot.
Posting habits| I'm going to guess this will be something like equal parts long babbling philosophical posts, fandom silliness, and "Hey, guys, look, I did a thing!" but I honestly have no idea. Pace is really a mystery right now, too, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's twice in a day sometimes and once in a week other times.
Warnings| Sexuality discussion will happen. Maybe not in personal detail, but in general. Also general warning for depression and PTSD over a past abusive relationship.
Looking for| Anyone who thinks my randomness is interesting and wants to talk about things.
Deal breakers| People who never engage in conversation (which given the premise of this meme shouldn't really be an issue) or who want arguments all the time. I don't mind if people disagree with me, and actually like hearing from different viewpoints, but not so much antagonism.

Tell us any interesting thing about you! One of my old posts from when I used to LJ was about how money literally burned a hole in my pocket. I'm interested in using it as a place to toss fic thoughts/ideas/related junk (largely BuckyNat with maybe a little Clintasha or ot3 stuff; a drabble I did several months back is here for anyone curious; I haven't done much outside of RP since and I'm looking to change that!) There will likely be Comics Wednesday commentary/reviews, maybe some sewing and craft project tracking/organization. Maybe a place to force myself into trying to do some kind of art stuff? I loved the idea of Inktober, even if I missed it completely (and my art is Not Good, but I hear practice is the best way to fix that). Also maybe some icon posts, which I do either (rarely) on commission or when the urge strikes. Maybe some cooking things, though I don't get to try new recipes as much as I want to.
Posting habits| Who knows? Looking to post at least a few times a week.
Warnings| I'm injured, so possible venting about doctors if day-to-day stuff comes up, but nothing too heavy. I use cut tags / warnings if that ends up not being the case. I try to be inclusive and aware of what I say, but I am not perfect. I'm female, cishet and went through a lot of stuff to get here; if I say something that seems offensive it's unintentional and I'm always willing to hear other peoples' thoughts/feelings as I'm aware my journey was not someone else's. I like watching gaming streams (esp GDQs, I have AGDQ on in the background right now!) and I play World of Warcraft (Alliance on Kul Tiras!). I'm a nerd for Paul McCartney and the Backstreet Boys and can watch reruns of The Golden Girls and Modern Family 500 times and laugh every time.

Speed Bio| I was born and raised and still live in NYC and work in the Broadway theater area as does some of my family (one works at Hamilton, everyone including me is jealous). I live by myself in an apartment and have two cute cats, Gaignun and Nora (video game name cats!). My sense of humor can be summed up with "everyone learns fast to use the absolute worst most offensive cards in Cards Against Humanity when I am the Card Czar" and I like being positive/lighthearted about things. What do you post| I have no idea! I used to keep an LJ religiously, but it's been a long-ass time and I was an idiot teenager who mostly had feelings explosions. There has been a lot of pain in my life, and while I tend to figure it out by writing it out, I sort the hell out of everything and use custom friends groups a lot.
Posting habits| Back then, I did a lot of diary stuff, and tended to comment less often, but again. Self-absorbed teenage idiot.
Warnings| I have a Serious Business Complex Trauma History involving childhood sexual assault and intimate partner abuse, and so I have pretty significant PTSD. I also have a stubborn form of depression, OCD, am in recovery for anorexia nervosa but still have some food-related difficulty, and disabling chronic pain and fatigue. The physical conditions are newly discovered since I was last keeping a journal, and have gotten dramatically worse in the past four years. I'm diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but still pursuing a couple of other issues.
