Heyo!

So after a few plurk discussions, the want to start journaling again a la Livejounal came up a few different places, and this idea was born!

We ask if you participate, that you attempt to post 1-3 time a week, and comment as much as possible to help jump start personal journaling here on dreamwidth. And if you use your journal already (or if you start from here) we'd love a link back to this meme! The more the merrier!

Do you?! That would be hilarious. Does that mean I know you from back when?

I'm not sure I've had enough experience with different types of floggers to be able to give a real answer on that. The ones I've made have sort of a nice light swish sound when I swing them in the air.

Light swish sound is good though. Makes me think it'll do more of a sting than a thud, if that makes sense? Thank you for the answer though.

Definitely a bit on the stingy side from my brief testing whacking my own arm with the one I'm keeping for myself. Adding metal beads to them makes them a lot more thuddy, which I prefer, and I want to make some like that at some point, but I don't have the beads yet. The person who showed me how to make these things had one with beads on it that I was definitely admiring, so it's a plan.

That does sound lovely. Are you planning on selling any at some point?

I don't have any posted up on Etsy yet, but the top and bottom ones here are available. Someone else also asked about them on my journal so I'll give them first pick of which one if they decide to get one. $30 for right now, though that might go up a bit once I get them actually set up in my shop. If you're more interested in beaded ones, I can let you know when I have some.
