Heyo!

So after a few plurk discussions, the want to start journaling again a la Livejounal came up a few different places, and this idea was born!

We ask if you participate, that you attempt to post 1-3 time a week, and comment as much as possible to help jump start personal journaling here on dreamwidth. And if you use your journal already (or if you start from here) we'd love a link back to this meme! The more the merrier!

Interest| Witchcraft, Tarot, media analysis, fandom analysis, writing, vids, filk, dreamwidth RP, tabletop RP, mythology and folklore, musical theater, uh... things.
Speed Bio| ISFJ Cancer Ravenclaw (probably a slightly crispy Hufflepuff Primary/Ravenclaw Secondary) with too much fondness for things that let me sort myself, other people, and characters into categories. I am a perennially exhausted, mentally ill freelance Tarot reader and editor. Witch, genderqueer, generally queer, autistic, very bad at being interesting or not rambling.

What do you post| Right now it's real life rants, rambles, and updates, occasionally interspersed with memes, fandom, and creative stuff. I am trying to up the balance on the creative stuff, fandom stuff, and general life/talking points, and lower the amount of ranting and breakdowns, but it's a process.
Posting habits| Fair warning: I have been awful about updating regularly and commenting, but I'm trying to fix that. This month I'm doing a January prompt meme and Snowflake, which have me posting an unusual amount; we'll see where the dust settles after, but I'm hoping at least a couple of times a week.
Warnings| I am depressed and anxious and occasionally a little suicidal, I have kind of messed up physical health, my family is full of issues, and I occasionally brainspill about any or all of these things. I try to warn and cut, though. I also occasionally write about uncomfortable things, but ditto on the warning and cutting there.
Looking for| People who meta, people who like talking about creative stuff, people who talk about mental illness/disability/queer issues/representation/religious thoughts and journeys.... Uh. Anybody who thinks they might be interested? I am bad at people but I like them, the more the merrier.
Deal breakers| Don't be a bigot and we'll probably be fine.

Tell us any interesting thing about you! I am terrible at these. I'm scared of dogs? ...I got nothing.

Ah yes, Avengers Academy, the money sink that will one day release it's death grip on my wallet. Maybe. Please tell me I'm not the only one that has this problem.

I know. There have been times where I knew I really should not pay money, and yet, I do it anyway, because shiny characters and I want them all, dammit.

The only event I didn't end up spending money on was the Halloween event, and it made me sad because Blade is one of my favorite characters. At least they've re-released them this latest event, but it's still a pain. ;;

I would have spent a lot on costumes, but I manage to talk myself out of the crates, generally. I skipped spending on the Spiderman event for money reasons, too, but I kind of kicked myself for that, because I want Miles.

On the other hand, I barely did ANYTHING in the Dr Strange event, but I still spent money, because they made the one character I really wanted premium. Game, why do you do this to me.

Haaaaa... I have spent an embarrassing amount on premium characters. I started day one, and I'm at level 36 with 63 characters.

And I screamed really loud when they gave us Lady Loki last event. //no shame

I started just about when the Guardians event did and I have 56. I think the only thing I got nothing from was the Squirrel Girl mini-event, because my phone broke a couple of days before it ended -- I was like one short of getting her when it did, too.

No shame needed. I screamed for America Chavez, so I'm right there with you.

Ugh, that Guardians event was so hard. I'm honestly surprised I managed to get Rocket. Still don't have Groot though. And I *barely* managed to get both Phil and Squirrel Girl, but I was determined because of level one Phil and his dorky Captain American messenger bag.

And omg America is so awesome. I'm mad I didn't manage to get her to Level 5 because I couldn't get enough red ornaments.

I am very possibly the person your "looking for" is describing. Like... everything on your interests list is something I'm interested in. (Also, INFJ Scorpio Slytherin, since that list seems like it should mean something to you + Enneagram 5w4 + I could list a bunch of archetypes but I won't)

Hello there! I am getting back to this late, but I am definitely adding, then. :D (Archetypes are fun though. I just find them really interesting. Particularly things where you have a measure of say -- if you choose a house and identify enough with your MBTI to list it, that says something interesting, y'know? ...Or maybe that's just me being ridiculous. XD)

It is interesting, I think! For me, I feel like I contain a lot of contradictions, so having labels other people can recognise to try to explain is useful. Something like that. Of course, to really describe someone, you sort of need a big pile of all of them. One of the reasons I like Caroline Myss's system of archetypes, since everyone has twelve of them and it's not just a single all-encompassing label for a big group.

I have never run into that system before, and I am going to be poking at that on and off tonight, so thanks for mentioning that. :D
