Heyo!

So after a few plurk discussions, the want to start journaling again a la Livejounal came up a few different places, and this idea was born!

We ask if you participate, that you attempt to post 1-3 time a week, and comment as much as possible to help jump start personal journaling here on dreamwidth. And if you use your journal already (or if you start from here) we'd love a link back to this meme! The more the merrier!

The only event I didn't end up spending money on was the Halloween event, and it made me sad because Blade is one of my favorite characters. At least they've re-released them this latest event, but it's still a pain. ;;

What do you post| I have no idea! I used to keep an LJ religiously, but it's been a long-ass time and I was an idiot teenager who mostly had feelings explosions. There has been a lot of pain in my life, and while I tend to figure it out by writing it out, I sort the hell out of everything and use custom friends groups a lot.
Posting habits| Back then, I did a lot of diary stuff, and tended to comment less often, but again. Self-absorbed teenage idiot.
Warnings| I have a Serious Business Complex Trauma History involving childhood sexual assault and intimate partner abuse, and so I have pretty significant PTSD. I also have a stubborn form of depression, OCD, am in recovery for anorexia nervosa but still have some food-related difficulty, and disabling chronic pain and fatigue. The physical conditions are newly discovered since I was last keeping a journal, and have gotten dramatically worse in the past four years. I'm diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but still pursuing a couple of other issues.
Looking for| I'm kinda quiet, but I can honestly get along with almost everyone...
Deal breakers|...except neonazis and bullies disguised as social justice activists. Life is too short for cruelty.

Tell us any interesting thing about you! Absolute pitch is correlated with music-color synesthesia, which I know because I have both. If you need to know what note on the western scale a toilet flushes in or what color acoustic guitars sound like, I'm your gal. :D

I'm a lion, but I get along really well with snakes--seriously, almost every friend I have who sorts is a Slytherin--and I'm also interested in history and folklore and mental illness and politics and representation!

It is interesting, I think! For me, I feel like I contain a lot of contradictions, so having labels other people can recognise to try to explain is useful. Something like that. Of course, to really describe someone, you sort of need a big pile of all of them. One of the reasons I like Caroline Myss's system of archetypes, since everyone has twelve of them and it's not just a single all-encompassing label for a big group.

I would have spent a lot on costumes, but I manage to talk myself out of the crates, generally. I skipped spending on the Spiderman event for money reasons, too, but I kind of kicked myself for that, because I want Miles.

On the other hand, I barely did ANYTHING in the Dr Strange event, but I still spent money, because they made the one character I really wanted premium. Game, why do you do this to me.

Haaaaa... I have spent an embarrassing amount on premium characters. I started day one, and I'm at level 36 with 63 characters.

And I screamed really loud when they gave us Lady Loki last event. //no shame

I started just about when the Guardians event did and I have 56. I think the only thing I got nothing from was the Squirrel Girl mini-event, because my phone broke a couple of days before it ended -- I was like one short of getting her when it did, too.

No shame needed. I screamed for America Chavez, so I'm right there with you.

Ugh, that Guardians event was so hard. I'm honestly surprised I managed to get Rocket. Still don't have Groot though. And I *barely* managed to get both Phil and Squirrel Girl, but I was determined because of level one Phil and his dorky Captain American messenger bag.

And omg America is so awesome. I'm mad I didn't manage to get her to Level 5 because I couldn't get enough red ornaments.
