Heyo!

So after a few plurk discussions, the want to start journaling again a la Livejounal came up a few different places, and this idea was born!

We ask if you participate, that you attempt to post 1-3 time a week, and comment as much as possible to help jump start personal journaling here on dreamwidth. And if you use your journal already (or if you start from here) we'd love a link back to this meme! The more the merrier!

Tell us any interesting thing about you! I can parrot back almost any language I hear as long as it isn't a tonal language. This means i have a lot of fun cosplaying. :P

Speed Bio| Spent my whole life in north Jersey and NYC, but now live in a Philly suburb, which is weird to me and has me feeling kind of isolated. Classical musician/composer and music teacher. Wife and soon-to-be mom. Into most things creative. I've had very few "normal" jobs but I have started two of my own companies and have made a living scraping together income as a performer, composer, and teacher, regularly commuting across three states for work. Over-educated. Underpaid. From a crazy family but I love them.

What do you post| All real life. I'm a classical musician, so it's about half career-stuff and half family/friends drama
Posting habits| Lots of long, personal posts. And I read and comment.
Warnings| I tend to vent by journaling.
Looking for| I'm 34 and pregnant. I recently moved to the suburbs after a lifetime in/near NYC and have culture shock still. I guess it would be nice to connect with other people who are in a similar place in life. But that's not a necessity.
Deal breakers| I probably won't get along with you if you are super conservative. Also, as I said, I use journaling to vent, so, maybe not someone who will be too critical of that.

Tell us any interesting thing about you! I spent some time as an astrophysicist. I've studied five foreign languages but I've forgotten quite a lot at this point.
Anything else? My husband loves the band Phish. Random, I know.
